It snowed today

So yes, I know, most people don't like Chicago winters. But even though I complain when its cold and I have to walk outside, I really like snow. Especially in Chicago because the city actually takes care of the streets. (That wasn't always true of St. Louis). So yeah for a light dusting of snow. Maybe that will help get me in the holiday spirit since I have been dragging my feet. I am totally disturbed by Christmas decorations in malls the first week of November and eggnog in the grocery stores before Halloween. Whatever happened to the Christmas season starting with Advent? I guess I just refuse to buy into it until Advent start. Oh well I guess if that makes me a grinch - at least until December.
