Batting 1,000

Well it's official, I have passed all of my first round of exams (4 question exams, 1 lab exam) and I am thrilled. I even passed all of them with a bit of room. My next round starts again next Monday, but I am just happy that I made it through the first set. Also, I ran in the Race for the Cure on Saturday and did much better than I expected. I had a goal of 34 minutes, with a stretch of 32 minutes, but ran in just over 29 minutes. Especially after not being the best about running because of my exam schedule, I was excited. Thank you to everyone who donated to the Komen Foundation in my fundraising page!!! My next race is called the Turkey Trot and I am moving up from a 5K to a 10K. The goal is to be able to run a half marathon with Chris in March, either in Indiana or Little Rock. Then, the year goal is to train for the Chicago Marathon in 2006 - a mightly lofty goal for a girl who could barely run a mile at the beginning of the summer. But I enjoy the training. I'm not sure I really enjoy the act of running, but I like the time to clear my head and train with someone for something specific. There is a lot going on - I seem to barely have time for life - but that is the life of a med student I am told. Hopefully I can keep it all up :)

Hi,

I'm sorry for being intrusive in to your blog. But I am Melissa and I am a mother of two that is just trying to get out of an incredible financial debt. See my hubby is away in Iraq trying to protect this great country that we live in, and I am at home with our two kids telling bill collectors please be patiant. When my husband returns from war we will beable to catch up on our payments. We have already had are 2001 Ford repossessed from the bank, and are now down to a 83 buick that is rusted from front to back and the heater don't work, and tire tax is due in November.

I'm not asking for your pitty because we got our ownselfs into this mess but we would love you and thank you in our prayers if you would just keep this link on your blog for others to view.

God Bless You.

Hi Tina, to stop the ads on your blog, you can change the comment section in your profile so that there's word verification. I used to get a lot on my blog- they're so annoying. Good job!
